Most trainers try to sell you how you can get big buff rock hard muscles with little or no training.Mike Mentzer and Ellington Darden come to mind.Those guys will tell you 1-2 sets is all you need to build muscle.

This book, however, is very different.It advocates high volume training for those who have little time to go to the gym.The author explains in great detail some of the principles that should guide you in your training, if life gets in the way.

I found this book to be very informative and very clear as to why if you have a busy schedule, you should train differently.The author gives you a set of guidelines to help you improvise workouts when you do suddenly find time to go to the gym.This is probably this book's greatest strength, but also its greatest weakness.The author provides you with plenty of guiding principles to auto-regulate your workouts (similar to Charles Staley's EDT), but if you're a newbie looking for a program with clearly defined sets and reps, then you'll be sorely disappointed.

Overall this a great program for advanced bodybuilders with a busy lifestyle, not for the beginner.
