(More customer reviews)I have read many fitness books and this one is the most comprehensive out there.The tone is warm and helpful, the suggestions are realistic and the results are amazing. I especially like the workbook format and the focus on the psychological and emotional aspects of fitness as well as the physical.
I would recommend The First Steps to Fitness to anyone trying to get or stay in shape, especially women who have poor body image and/or feel like whatever they've been doing to get into shape hasn't been working. The answers are in this book.
